A fabulously detailed unmounted rubber stamp from the USA. Unmounted stamps are very easy to use and store. Please read the rubber stamping guide in the left hand menu if you are unsure about using unmounted stamps.
This stamp measures 9.5cm x 6.5cm.
Symbology
This is a very unusual stamp based on a Roman commemorative plate and depicting the Sun God Sol ( Helios). The official recognition of sun worship in the Roman Empire began during the time of Aurelian when he instituted the cult of "Sol invictus".
